Lead Planner & Founder

Nicole Oppelt, lead planner and founder, coordinates, produces and executes all aspects of events. Nicole has a passion for creativity, event design, and service. She is a natural in the event industry. Her warm and enthusiastic personality, along with flawless precision and attention to detail, has helped contribute to her success. Her passion and vision for excellence are her driving force behind very satisfied customers. She earned bachelor’s degrees in Business Management and Public Relations from Monmouth University.

Nicole is also the owner of Dovetail Vintage Rental Co, a boutique rental company for weddings and special events. Adding to her resume is her newest business endeavor, Fleur La Fete. Offering fresh floral bouquets and luxury interior design faux florals.

Some of her favorite things are:

  • spending quality time with her husband Mike and her daughters Goldie + Campbell
  • enjoying the outdoors with her giant fur babies, Reese + Otis
  • interior design + decorating
  • traveling, especially to the Bahamas
  • all things neutral + cozy


Associate Planner and Wedding Management Specialist

Amanda Scarpaci, assists in the design and planning aspects of NEO’s events. Amanda has a drive for event organization and management, with a specialty in timeline execution and creative conceptualization. She loves coming up with themes and designs to match a client’s personality and vision. One of her favorite parts of event planning is the ability to take an idea and bring it to life in a unique and fun way.

Amanda’s talents include cake baking and decorating, balloon artwork and installations, favor making, Day Of Coordination, and can play a mean intro to “Super Trooper” by ABBA on guitar.

Amanda attended Montclair State University where she graduated with a degree in Communication and Media Arts and a minor in Psychology.

Some of her favorite activities include:

  • Sailing + traveling to complete her bucket list of visiting all 50 states (she’s 20 states down!)
  • Dressing up her hairless cat, Sonny
  • Acting + voiceover work
  • Using any excuse to throw a social gathering
  • Reading + creative writing
